Eirtech and IAC continue multi-year club sponsorship deal with Shannon RFC which covers the AIL senior team as well as the underage teams (under 6 – under 12s). Eirtech and IAC are delighted to advance our relationship with Shannon RFC and to help the club implement their growth plans and vision. We understand how crucial sponsorships can be for local clubs are we are happy to continue to invest in our local community which is vital for both senior and junior players.

Founded in 1884, Shannon Rugby Football Club is the most successful club in the All-Ireland League, having won the competition nine times. Hailing from Limerick City, Shannon RFC’s clubhouse is positioned on the grounds of Thomond Park – the home of Munster Rugby.
Over 20 players from the club have represented Ireland at senior international level with three being selected for the Lions (Colm Tucker: 1980, Gerry McLoughlin: 1983, Mick Galwey: 1993). ‘The club is steeped in heritage and for our photocall we were delighted to have third generation Shannon RFC junior players on site at the Eirtech and IAC Hangar’. – Noel Moore, Club Chair of Finance
